Such discussion is definitely on topic for the Flounder list.  If it's 
declared that technical discussion is not on topic for this list it could be 
moved there.  However most of the people participating in the recent 
discussions aren't on the Flounder list so there is less of a benefit in 
asking questions there at this time.  If we could get a bunch of people to 
join the Flounder list that would change things.
