The uploaded videos for this year don't have any other option for captions
except for automated captions. Is there any planned path to get captions
implemented?
Captions are a major point for accessibility of talks. (see talk by Nicolas
Steenhout at https://rego.linux.conf.au/schedule/presentation/50/ and
accompanying video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B1o6DyLCVY )
One option for captions is to allow community contributions and can be enabled
quickly for all videos (see
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6052538?hl=en )
