Hi everyone
I received this email the other day and I have been thinking about it
a bit and have decided to join the "discussion" regarding this issue.

I, personally, think this may be a good idea but I wonder about the
practicalities of it. For instance if the name gets changed to Open
Source Australia will you promote other OSs such as the BSDs as much
as you promote Linux or will your main focus be Linux (and associated
applications)?

If the main focus remains Linux and its associated applications then,
to me, the name change will serve no useful purpose. If the name
change will bring about a true focus on all Open Source activity
including the BSDs and not just Linux and its associated applications
then I am all for it.
