While hesitant to bite off more than I can chew, I had thoughts that if the project went well we would write a paper and submit it to one of the leading Australian Computer Science Education conferences - probably ACE. This is the “Computer Science Education” conference and would definitely help promote the approach across other ANZ educational institutions.
There is a fair bit of “we don’t know what we don’t know” here as well. I doubt we will have a clear view of just how bad a problem we have here (i.e. how much FOSS-unfriendly content we have) until we get through the initial review part of the grant. I think it’s important we complete at least that part of the grant before engaging any other institutions.
Regards,
Mark.
