Hi Noel,

No, I would not see LA relinquishing the trading name Linux Australia in
the short term. Any re-branding activity would need to be well planned,
and would likely happen in phases, so retaining Linux Australia would be
required for some years to come to ensure continuity. My personal
feeling would be that should a group want to specialise in
linux-specific activities or events they could still do so under a
broader umbrella.
