Programs for education...

Within Australia's education syllabus does Linux appear, so at least
we ensure all students (in particular secondary) receive a basic
understanding of Linux ?

Basic is hopefully enough they see it as useful,  also to where they
can proceed further either Live-on-USB-or-Disk or to install and learn
more.

Is it possible to run Linux  Live-on-USB-or-Disk on the Education laptops ?
