[Linux-aus] Open Hardware Conference [adding to conference set]

Hi David, All,

LCA2013 was indeed an excellent event, a credit to all concerned :)

An Open Hardware Conference is a great idea and certainly something that 
Linux Australia is supportive of.

Tim Ansell is one of a couple of folk who have also flagged some 
interest in such a happening.  Perhaps worth a straw poll here on the 
list and then convening an IRC discussion or similar to flesh out next 
steps ?

I'd be happy to (virtually) attend such a discussion if that's useful as 
well as the subsequent event itself :)
