ACS certification and ACS membership are by products of the migration
assessment process service that ACS provides on behalf of the
government. It is not an end in itself. It's a value add service to
those who seek skills assessment for migration.
ACS provides this assessment service so that the government can be
assured that those who are claiming to be qualified ICT professionals
are indeed suitably skilled.
