If you are preaching to the converted who well know what the  Haecksen 
Miniconf is, then they probably are already committed, however for the 
rest of us, this email has little meaning and certainly no motivation is 
provided to do anything with it.

What is the  Haecksen Miniconf ? and why should I care whether it goes 
ahead or not?
