[Linux-aus] Access to membership list?

I've just been attempting to nominate an LA member for Council member,
but it seems as though the only identifier I can use to nominate is by
their e-mail address.

Given that the addresses some people use on the list may be different
to the address they signed up for membership with, this seems somewhat
counterproductive.

On that basis, would it be possible to give ordinary members access to
the membership register?
