Kudos Kathy for getting this off the ground.
We really need a metric load more stuff going on in regional centres.
There's something FLOSSY on just about every week in the big smoke -
meetups, user groups, etc... but that's just not possible to sustain in
smaller cities and towns.
I wholeheartedly endorse this grant request as just the kind of thing we
should be supporting... and having worked with Kathy directly on
software freedom day, barcamps and stixcamp I know she'll do a brilliant
job of making sure the event is the best it can be, but also that she'll
strive to put systems in place that mean follow up events will be even
better.
