Not really; I think this is mostly a difference between being on the
council and not -- I know there's a few things that happened while I
was on the council that could have warranted similar complaints, for
instance. The two things that make a big difference are (a) having to
actually get things done, and (b) not wanting to criticise people you
have to work with on an ongoing basis. Fortunately, I don't have
either of those problems at the moment. :)
