1.6% under 18
10% aged 18-25
39% aged 25-35
26% aged 35-45
16% aged 45-55
7.1% aged 55+
(and an additional 21% didn't give their age)
Equal proportions between the 25-35 and 18-25 brackets would have meant
about 31.2% compared to 39%, so you could reasonably argue for every 18-25
year old that knows about Linux and FOSS, there are two more that should
(and would have if they'd '90s kids) but don't...
Of course, this is really measuring the age of people who will fill in an L=
A
survey, which could be hugely different from people who actually
use/contribute to Linux/FOSS. Of course, I guess that would be its own
problem for LA even if it wasn't one for Linux/FOSS in general...
This propsoal was more about getting users/developers in the 18=9625 age ra=
nge
