[Linux-aus] Cairo cross compile

cairo1.6.4 compiles fine for x86 but the problem is just related to cross compile to arm architecture.

Cairo 1.6.4 is really old. Version 1.10.0 was just released (hooray!);
for anything experimental you want to be using that; it'll be where the
bug fixes are.
