Hi all!

We thought considering this project has such a strong community element,
plus many of your responded to the Census, that it would be completely
appropriate to post an invitation to the launch event here :) Hope to see
you there!

Cheers,
Pia

Waugh Partners invites you to the launch of the very first Australian Open
Source Industry & Community Report. The gathering will include an overview
of the report, special guests and plenty of time for drinks and networking.

The Australian Open Source Industry & Community Census is the world's first
detailed survey of both individual Open Source contributors and commercial
service and support providers at a national scale. With this research Waugh
Partners aims to educate the Australian market and perhaps burst a few
misconceptions along the way.

At the conclusion of the launch, the report will be made available on the
Waugh Partners website as a freely downloadable PDF.

The Census project is supported by our principal research partner NICTA,
sponsors IBM and Fujitsu, and is endorsed by community and industry
organisations Linux Australia and Open Source Industry Australia. Many
thanks to the NSW Department of State and Regional Development for hosting
the launch.
