Wouldn’t Linux Australia, as an established organisation, be better
suited to do this (whatever it actually ends up being) for Australia’s
LUGs? In the time (not to mention money and effort) required to launch
the Council of LUGs off the ground could not Linux Australia provide
what is necessary? I just don't see why resources and time should be
spent to launch an organisation that practically already exists and
could just as well merge from Linux Australia (a sub group per se).
Maybe I’m just missing the point. :)
