Well, Linux-incompatibility is only one of the issues. DRM's the other
issue, particularly wrt the shop downloads. IMO DRM is contrary to the
intent of the ABC Act, and it's very un-ABCish seeing how they've been
pretty good about sharing their content online so far.
I just heard on the radio that FABC has raised concerns about the shop
downloads being over commercialisation. I shall get in contact with
them and see if they're willing to take the ABC up over DRM. The FABC
has a lot more influence, of course.
