Hi all,

I'm finally getting around to learning about OpenID. First I looked at all
the services that offered it currently. None of them had a cool name. Then I
thought, "No, I should manage my identity myself". Then I thought "If I'm
going to do this myself, then maybe I can help some other people too." So
then I thought, "Maybe this is something that the CLUG can do." Then finally
I came to the best idea yet, "No, maybe this is something that Linux Australia
can do for its members."

What do people think? We already have the MemberDB. There's the Python
OpenID library (http://www.openidenabled.com/python-openid/) to make the nuts
and bolts easy. Is this something that would be of use to the members of
Linux Australia?

Have fun,

Paul
