Hi all,
just a friendly reminder that Software Freedom Day is this Saturday (or
Sunday in Sydney), so go along and check out your local events, or even help
out by volunteering or running your own event :) This year there are over
300 teams worldwide from over 80 countries! The biggest event ever!
Australia has 16 events this year:

Software Freedom Day is the worlds largest outreach event which conveys to
the general public the value of both FOSS and the concepts of software
freedom (open knowledge, open standards, etc). See this article for more
information on "Software Freedom":

Happy Software Freedom Day everyone for the weekend! Make sure you make the
most of it in both reaching out to the general public and also growing your
local communities.

Please feel free to forward this email around.
Note for teams: Linux Australia is sorting out your public liability
insurance. Apolgies for the delay. I'll send another email in the next few
days, but it will be sorted out.
Cheers,
Pia
