Our client is an award winning company based in Melbourne, with a history of
substantial and sustained growth. With offices and clients around the world
and a head office in Melbourne, they now need to further bolster their Linux
team.

 

Offering a vibrant and sociable working environment, this is an organization
that offers genuine opportunity to work on large scale mission critical
systems, with 24/7, 365 day system availability. The role will work within a
team of five experienced Linux specialists, providing high level
administration and engineering services of the technical infrastructure.
Technically it is a heavy RedHat environment and requires a deep
understanding of high volume, high availability systems. 

 

The right candidate will come with a track record of engineering high
transactional environments with an in-depth understanding of Linux in
particular RedHat and open source technologies, experience with application
servers and some Windows administration will be very highly regarded. Most
importantly however is a genuine commitment to technical excellence and a
desire to continually improve and enhance environments.
