2007 NSW Pearcey Award
Thursday 6th December 2007; 5.30-7.00PM, Australian Maritime Museum, 2
Murray Street, Darling Harbour, Sydney
The 2007 NSW State Pearcey Award will be held on Thursday 6th December
2007 in conjunction with 2007 VC Connect NSW. The Pearcey Foundation
is sponsoring a cocktail session at the conclusion of the VC Connect
program at which time the Hon John Della Bosca , NSW Minister for
Education and Training, will present the award.
The Pearcey Award is a State award aimed at encouraging and rewarding
fresh and innovative talent in the ICT profession. A cash grant will
be awarded to an individual early in his or her career who has
demonstrated innovative and pioneering achievement and contribution to
technological development in this profession. The Award is supported
each year by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, the
Australian Computer Society, NSW Branch, and by the North Sydney
Institute, TAFE NSW.
The NSW Pearcey Committee is encouraging applicants to apply or
nominate someone they know who has made a significant contribution to
the ICT industry, for this years prestigious award.
