Also, as Jon points out, people (well companies often) want to donate money
to LA, id this is one way to enable that to happen in a feel good way why
the heck not.

It is not so much a money grabbing exercise more of an ensure people who want
to give LA money for the cool stuff LA does get a warm and fuzzy feeling out
of the experience somehow.
