[Linux-aus] Conference of LUG Representatives and our New Themes Idea

Something which we discussed at our Face to Face meeting, but I think
I've been really remiss in raising here.

The idea is to gather representatives from all the LUGs in one place to
discuss different ways LUGs can operate and grow and find out how LA can
best help the various groups.

The conf would last a day, maybe two.

Also in order to help people with the whole "Can I apply for a grant on
this?" thing, we have decided to "theme" each quarter around a major
event. As we had talked about holding the "Conference of the LUGS"
around this time (doesn't time fly), we had decided to theme this
quarter "LUG and Community Development". Next quarter would be themed
around Software Freedom Day, so it would cover advocacy and activities
of a similar ilk.

Thoughts, suggestions and so on welcome.
