Re: [Linux-aus] Vista v. Linux Movie

There has been some excellent debate here....I dont; have time to
answer the extra questions raised....I always seem to start these
debates then work whisks me away.. :-(

In the end, its worth noting some things:

One response that challenged my statements appologised at the end for
being so verbose...I acknowledge your points. I may not agree with
some of them, but there should never be a need to appologise for valid
thoughts and ideas that you throw into the community.

The space between our own thoughts and ideas is our ultimate strength.

How we handle the debate around that space is strongly related to the
Open Source method of development. It is what produces the high
quality alternatives we have to offer.

I really really wish that I could get directly involved but my work
and home life calendar is overbooked already...for what its worth I
would have to say that the involvement of MM students is an excellent
idea!!! It would benefit them and us in equal measure.

As a PT TAFE Teacher, I think this is a *terrific* idea. Although I
don't teach MultiMedia, I know the MM teachers at two Colleges, and I am
sure they are always looking for assignments for their Diploma Students.
Something like this every year could be a God-send for them. Each year
"the same" and yet "different".

I will try and talk to some today.
