Don't shed a tear too soon: Digital isn't being confined to the
scrap-heap just yet. The actual machine, although a few years behind the
times, is still very capable of pushing bits onto the wire for a while
yet.

However, with the rapid expansion of services that LA is providing to
the community it's well past time to re-jig our hosting infrastructure,
and migrating the LA site and other services is just one step on that
path. Digital will be put to other uses, don't worry.
