[Linux-aus] AUUG to close? Will there be a rush of new members to Linux Australia?

Cool something I agree with Jeff on :)
Yes people need to realise the LA name change suggestion is completely
unrelated to AUUG.
As much as I respect Jeff and all the cool stuff he does, this is
definitely one area I disagree with him on (LA name change). However open
debate is always interesting and useful.
The LA name change idea (and lca name change) has been brought up a few
times in the last year and a half. It is something we obviously need to hash
out more and get high community involvement with getting our future
direction worked out on.
Maddog made a great post to this list last year when we were discussing the
issue (though part of why I think it so good is possibly due to him agreeing
with my dissinterest in renaming lca)

Anyway keep the issues seperate but keep the debate coming.
