It's important to recognise and remember that LA is an organisation that 
functions due to the voluntary efforts of a number of good spirited people.

... the voluntary efforts of good spirited people with the common endeavour 
  to allow Linux to grow and flourish.

The LCA brand has been built with a great deal of community effort. It 
belongs to no single person, it belongs to all of us.

It was wrought with the combined cooperative efforts of many local LUGS 
over time. It should not be nullified or annihilated without a really 
really good reason.
