I am getting these grants from here:
http://www.grants.ord.sa.gov.au/closing.asp
This one looks good for lan deployment.
The Volunteer Small Equipment Grants program provides funding of up to
$3,000 to help organisations purchase equipment in the direct support of
volunteers whose work contributes to benefiting families and communities.
The equipment should directly assist volunteers by making their
volunteering activities easier, safer or more enjoyable.
Priority will be given to organisations:
a) whose volunteers work to support families and/or local communities
b) that have relatively small operating budgets and limited funding
sources and a relatively high volunteer to paid staff ratio
c) whose objectives are consistent with the Stronger Families and
Community Strategy's funding priorities
d) helping rebuild families and communities after disasters (including
drought and bush fires)
e) wanting equipment that will have maximum benefit in the local
community for a small outlay
Application forms are available from the web site.
Applications are closing on 21 July 2006.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, organisations must be not-for-profit and incorporated.
If an organisation is not incorporated, another incorporated
organisation in the community (eg your local council) may accept and
administer the grant on their behalf.
