Hi all,
Last night I gave a short speech to the NSW Society for Computers and
the Law. An interesting group that were originally a SIG of ACS. We had
3 speakers there, Brendan Scott (a lawyer specialising in Open Source)
spoke on client copyright, I spoke on what open source is functionally
and why businesses are interested in it, then Paul Kangro from Novell
did a spiel about why they are interested in Open Source and what they
are up to.
It was a great night, and they are an interesting society. For anyone
interested check out http://nswscl.org.au/
Cheers,
Pia
