perhaps, but most other industry groups or companies have the immense 
leverage that Gartner have. That puts special onus on Gartner to be more 
accurate, more enlightened of the trends.

no. But we are amateurs as analysts of the IT industry. It's their day 
job, and they often get it wrong.
