The Victorian IT Teachers Association annual conference happens in
November. Call for papers closes on August 15.

Speaking at conferences like this is a great way to get the free and
open source software message directly into the school sector.

Please please please forward this and encourage people you know to
submit talks if they have anything relevant.

Technical content is very likely to be accepted, as they're still
looking for talks for the technicians and ICT managers stream.
  eg...
  LTSP
  Networking & Wireless roll outs
  Databases
  network and config management
  Security
  IT Skills Training

Anything to do with ICT infrastructure management in schools?
Anything to do with ICT in the classroom? ICT Pedagogy?

The audience is varied and comprises school technicians, school ICT
managers, IT teachers, school ICT leaders and principals.
