[Lias] Linux on the Dell Dimension

I finally got into the school on Friday to start work on setting up that
intranet server I've been talking about. While there, I did an initial
install of RH 8.0 on the computer we'll be using (I'd requested one of the
Dells we got in the last rollout). Urk. Dell Dimenion 2350 - very low end
microATX mobo with a Broadcom ethernet chip that no-one has ever heard of,
onboard video that steals RAM from main memory, etc.

To cut a long story short, this machine seems to be causing a lot of grief
to those who are trying to run Linux on it. I spent quite a bit of time
tracking down the right drivers - at least, I think that they're the right
drivers, because it's now school holidays and I won't been able to get back
in there to test them until next term. But in the meantime, since many
other NSW schools will have these things and may want to press them into
service with Linux, here's my write-up which points to the drivers:

Careful with the probably-wrapping URL there; that's one of the joys of
content management systems. . .

Best,
