Job description: AKIPS is looking to add a Systems Administrator to our team. 
What you will do
You will own the whole life-cycle of system administration: design, planning, implementation, securing and maintaining of ICT systems.  
Location
The role is a permanent, full-time position based in our Tanah Merah office, south of Brisbane.
You will be responsible for:
FreeBSD servers (production, development, support, infrastructure) on both bare metal and VMs (vSphere)
Critical web applications (website etc)
Hardware monitoring, planning and asset lifecycle management
Server and storage equipment, operating systems, and application services, maintained using automation tools
Backups, disaster recovery including offsite failover
Firewalls and remote access solutions
Fleet management of MacBooks
Various cloud platforms (M365, Zendesk, etc.)
ISO 27001 compliance 
Who you are
You are an IT enthusiast and enjoy being part of an integral team.  
You will have:
Ability to work in a team environment and build strong working relationships
3+ years of experience in a similar role
Capable problem solver
Close attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication skills
Confidence and ability to manage your own workload
