Think of ultra-low power Wi-Fi chips that reach 10x further and cover 1000x the volume of conventional Wi-Fi deployments. 
Reporting to the Head of IT, this position is located in Sydney, Australia and is available immediately. This role offers some unique opportunities such as working with infrastructure that is 100% in the cloud, High Performance Computing technologies and devops automation.
Responsibilities include:
---------------------------
* Building, maintaining and perfecting Morse Micro’s AWS cloud infrastructure
* Maintenance and monitoring of RHEL / Centos / Ubuntu cloud servers
* Installation, configuration and automation of Ubuntu lab equipment
* Installation of third party EDA software on cloud infrastructure
* General IT infrastructure support
* Cyber Security reviews & implementation of intrusion detection and prevention systems
* Ad-hoc Linux / Windows / Mac support for users
* Devops and participation in sprint-based project work as required.
Essential skills (you must have these skills to be considered):

* AWS EC2 expertise
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Centos guru
* Deep understanding of network infrastructure & security
* IT infrastructure know-how (eg Meraki firewalls & switches, Unifi WiFi APs or similar)
* Scripting experience with Bash & Python
* Experience with setting up and maintaining AWS storage technologies
* Experience with NIS binding
* Working knowledge of git
Bonus skills (if you have these, you can stand out among the crowd but don’t sweat it if you don’t):

* Experience with Devops tools such as Terragrunt and Terraform
* Experience with Slurm or IBM Spectrum LSF or any HPC technologies
* Experience with AWS EC2 F1 fpga instances
* Experience with X2Go and/or NoMachine virtual desktop software
* Experience with continuous integration implementations on Bitbucket
* Experience with Google workspaces
