Job description: Catalyst IT Australia is part of a global team of skilled open source technologists. We specialise in developing, designing and supporting enterprise grade systems using open source technologies.
We are growing fast and we're looking for people with potential who are, or can become, robust and professional PHP developers. We are open to developers with varying levels of experience.
At Catalyst IT Australia, open source is not just what we do, it's what we stand for. Your company laptop runs Linux. You work mostly from our nice Brisbane City office, show yourself to be an independent worker, taking initiative and responsibility, with strong communication skills.
You'll be working on Drupal (PHP) on Linux, using git/github/gitlab, MySQL, and we deploy mostly with Docker on AWS - but, we care more for your potential and ability to recognise patterns and think critically than for specific experience. Above all we are looking for people who are willing to learn. Our team is here to support you grow.

This position is permanent full-time ($80,000 - $109,999 + Super) in our awesome Brisbane CBD office in the heritage listed 99 Creek St building. We have a relaxing room with bean bags, a fancy coffee machine, pizza Thursdays with talks, Friday afternoon drinks, a dozen fab local colleagues, and more interstate.
We also offer flexible working hours, and opportunities for our team to grow and expand their skill sets, including training, conference attendance and mentoring.
