Role
Reporting to the IT Manager, this permanent opportunity for a Linux Systems  
Admin - Developer is part of the team responsible for managing and  
maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. Based on-site, duties will  
include, but not be limited to:

Duties:

System Back-ups / Restores

Security, firewalls, monitoring, testing

Management of services such as DNS, Web, Router, Firewall, Database,, Virtual  
machines, etc.

PC / Printer configuration and support.

Assisting in various Project requirements

Automation

Database Administration

There are many projects and opportunities available for your skill set and  
many projects that will be a challenge for you. We are looking for someone  
with the ability to take a project and work though it till completion.  
Someone who is able to liaise with other parties and research different  
technologies to achieve the desired outcome. We desire someone who knows  
Linux inside out. Someone who is able to test and apply solutions with the  
minimum disruption to the companies' operation.

Skills & Experience
 From a technical perspective, you will have experience in the following  
technologies to very good standard. Mentoring will be provided to the  
successful candidate in any areas where required.

Linux / Ubuntu

Apache

DNS

IP Tables

Postgres

Bash, Python, C, Java

Networking

Also experience in the following will be of great advantage.

OpenERP / Odoo

Javascript

VOIP

Networking

Rasberry Pi

Electronics
