National company seeking members to join their front line support team  
charged with supporting desktop and business systems across Australia. Role  
includes phone and remote support using a variety of technologies. On-site  
support opportunities available if the applicant is willing to travel.

Duties include:
   - Desktop OS & Office application support
   - Mobile phone support (configuration / troubleshooting)
   - Liasing with telecommunications providers to log faults and register new  
services
   - Network troubleshooting of LAN and basic WAN faults
   - Phone system configuration and fault management
   - Roll out of new software/hardware systems as product offering expands
   - Work on automation of installation / configuration of systems

The correct candidate will also:
   - Work with operations team to diagnose network issues
   - Handle monitoring system alerts
   - Implement firewall rules as required

Experience in the following is a must:
   - 2-3 years in at least a level 2 desktop support role
   - Experience with remote access technologies such as Team Viewer, VNC,  
LogMeIn etc.
   - Good written and verbal communication skills
   - Have a good sense of humor and fit into a friendly working environment
   - Be a team player
   - Be able to work un-supervised
   - Have a can do attitude, wanting to learn more and progress a career in IT  
& T
   - Must be Australian resident or have permission to work in Australia.

Experience which will be of benefit:
   - Experience with Telephony concepts (Sip, ISDN, PSTN etc)
   - Experience with desktop automation (Chocolatey, GPO, PowerShell,  
OCSInventory etc)
   - Experience with MDM systems
   - Experience running own servers at home (Vmware , linux, windows etc)
