My client is a large and respected NSW Government Agency based in Parramatta.

The role

Seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to take ownership of the Redhat Linux  
and Oracle Virtual Infrastructure environment in both a project and BAU  
capacity.

Responsibilities

The role will involve Enterprise wide monitoring, new installations, regular  
patching and upgrades of all RHEL operating platforms.

Experience & skills required

Installation and administration of Oracle Virtual Servers and VMs (OVM)
Installing and managing Red Hat Linux 6 & 7
Enterprise monitoring experience with either Nagios, Groundworks or Zabbix  
including PHP / Jboss / Tomcat and infrastructure monitoring
Renewal Java security certificates
Installation and securing Tomcat/ Jboss and PHP application infrastructure
Bash Shell scripting
Redhat Linux Patching

Terms

The contract will be across business hours and weekends
This will include weekly on call support on rotating roster bases
Day rate up to $632.00 plus super
6 month contract
