Position: Developer
Location: Hobart, TAS, AU
Basis: Permanent, Full Time

AQ1 Systems is looking for a dedicated, and enthusiastic Full Stack developer  
to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in  
designing and building a multi-tier reporting and analytics system for our  
customers. The position is based in Hobart Tasmania.

Responsibilities

Work with a tight-knit development team to develop a data aggregation and  
analytics platform for AQ1 Systems products.

Architect and design major components of the AQ1 platform and continue to  
improve them with the goal to maximize scalability, performance and  
availability.

Building responsive mobile-first layouts and progressively enhancing  
especially for improved desktop experiences
Develop dashboard and reports on historical and realtime data sources

Cultivate best practices and promote constant learning via code reviews and  
documentation

Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Science/Computing
- 4+ years of relevant software development experience
- Python
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Linux and shell scripting
- Git source control
- Strong communication and documentation skills

Desired
- WebSockets or REST APIs
- D3.js + Crossfilter
- PostgreSQL Database
- Timeseries Databases
- Embedded Linux platforms
