In 'ITaLI', the team is focused on developing a new e-Exam system based on a Live Linux-based platform and server-side components. In 'eLIPSE', the development team is working on tools and practices that support student learning and promote self-directed learning, including the optimal use of the University's learning systems. The appointee will also serve as a conduit for collaboration between ITaLI and eLIPSE. The person Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree in computer science/information technology/software engineering or comparable field with subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience/training. Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in software development with and for Linux OS, using suitable programming languages, user interface/widget design and problem solving techniques as these skills with be critical in successfully delivering on the e-Exams project.
