Funnelback is a growing search technology company headquartered in Canberra  
with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, London, and Wellington, NZ. We  
provide innovative website and enterprise search solutions to organisations  
such as Westpac, ASX, ABC and University of Cambridge.

We’re looking for a talented Technical Implementer to join our Production  
team in Canberra. You will learn about the exciting field of search by  
working on high-profile search projects alongside experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
*Installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Funnelback product
*Front-end web authoring using HTML and CSS
*Back-end web development using XML, REST and SQL
*System administration tasks on Linux and Windows servers
*Supporting the Production Team to resolve technical issues and keep projects  
on track
*Supporting the Sales team by creating working demonstration search  
implementations to display the features and capabilities of the product
*Contributing to technical project documentation by creating build  
specifications as required
*Researching current trends in search, web design and software development  
and identify ways to improve the product, processes and practice of the  
company.

Your Profile
*Qualifications in IT/Computer science/Web design and development
*Excellent entry-level knowledge of web development and best practice
*Excellent entry-level knowledge of data processing with scripting languages
*Familiarity with software development best practice including version  
control
*Working knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
*Good communicator who is comfortable explaining technical information to  
various audiences
*Able to learn new products quickly and produce working implementations
*Sound organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
