If you have excellent Linux and/or networking skills and want to immerse

     * systems security
     * network design
     * network management
     * virtualisation - Xen, KVM, vServers
     * systems monitoring
     * backup configuration, deployment and testing
     * DNS
     * filesystem design
     * systems performance tuning
     * database/filesystem replication

Experience with following tools and applications helpful:
     * nagios
     * cactii
     * [Z|A]manda
     * FWbuilder
     * iptables
     * Cisco IOS
     * Apache
     * nginx
     * squid
     * postgresql, MySQL

You will also enjoy working with software designers and developers to enable  
them to deliver top quality Open Source applications for our many and varied  
customers.

Documentation, communication and continuous improvement processes are  
critical to our company, enthusiastic seeking and sharing of knowledge is a  
must.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work  
permit.   You must be able to work from our office in Wellington, New  
Zealand.
