    Sensory Networks is a leading OEM provider of high performance
network security acceleration technology. We are a Californian company,
with offices in Palo Alto, Beijing and engineering labs in Sydney,
Australia.

    Our mission is to help our partners and customers deliver better
network security products to the market, faster.

    Sensory Networks' NodalCore(tm) products allow application
developers and network equipment vendors to build higher performance,
more accurate, broader coverage network security products without the
substantial cost and risk associated with development of specialized
hardware.

    The System Administration department is responsible for the
maintenance and ongoing support of all existing IT infrastructure, along
with the planning, procurement and execution of new IT infrastructure.
The System Administration team is also responsible for tech support,
both in the Sydney office and on-call for the other offices.

    Optimise system performance
  # Identify current bottlenecks and propose new architectures/ways of
operating to eliminate them
  # Identify business use cases and match them to the technology

    Improve business productivity
  # Evaluate business requirements and use them to select appropriate
technologies or solutions
  # Evaluate existing business processes and identify new solutions or
processes


    Skills & Competencies
    The successful candidate will have worked in other Linux System
Administration environments with at least two years experience. They
will be a proven learner and well organized, likely bringing their own
culture and attitudes to the role.

    Skills Required
  # Debian 3.1, specifically with NSS-LDAP
  # OpenBSD , including PF and isakmpd experience
  # Ubuntu
  # NFS
  # Apache vhosts and SSL certs
  # Chrooting experience (bind, apache, amavis)
  # Postfix/Courier/Amavis/SpamAssassin
  # Python programming
  # Xen
  # Perforce, Jira, Confluence, Exchange experience preferable but not
essential
