Linux Support Specialist, Full Time

Great opportunity for experienced Linux enthusiast with superior problem solving skills to join our Client Services Team.

· Configuration and support of Linux based servers and networks
· Utilise your C/C++  knowledge
· Small team in Crows Nest 

Creative Computing is a long established boutique Software House that has a friendly and casual work environment. Based in Crows Nest, we develop, install and support Integrated Retail Business Systems.

We now have a great opportunity for an experienced Linux enthusiast to join our small, friendly and co-operative Client Services Team. 


The main responsibilities of this position include:
· Timely resolution of client technical support issues utilising your extensive Linux knowledge
· Configuration of Linux based servers, networks and a variety of peripherals 
· System customisation utilising bash, perl, C and C++ 
· Contribution to the online Knowledge database

You will require:
· strong Linux system configuration and administration experience
· strong Linux scripting skills (bash and perl)
· at least 2 projects with C and/or C++
· an understanding of transaction-based system concepts
· excellent oral and written communication skills
· demonstrable problem-solving and fast-learner skills 
· a strong customer focus
· a well organised and productive work ethic
· ability to work within a small highly motivated team
