Linux Software Engineer - Bris, Full Time

Key Responsibilities
•	Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications
•	Supports and/or installs software applications
•	Focuses on developing and maintaining applications used in the internationalization and localization of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
•	Writes and modifies applications to support internationalization features
•	Implements and maintains applications specific to their native language, such as input methods
•	Performs native language specific quality assurance of Linux Desktops
•	Participates in weekly team meetings and coordinates activities with independent teams

Requirements
•	Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
•	At least 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•	Ability to read and interpret technical documents
•	Ability to speak native language and business level English
•	Experience in developing Linux Desktop applications
•	Understanding and experience in object-oriented design and coding
•	Experience in developing applications for GTK/GNOME and QT/KDE
•	Knowledge of basic software engineering concepts, development models, testing and documentation

The salary range that we are looking to fit this role is between AUD 45,000 - AUD 60,000 depending on the relevancy and ability.
