Due to expansion of our ANZ operations, Red Hat is seeking a full time Linux Instructor to join our award winning Global Learning Services team in Melbourne. 

Job Description
The GLS Instructor conducts technical training courses for customers in the use of Red Hat products.  Courses involve face to face teaching with class sizes of approximately 12 students. Instructors  teach participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions and conduct examinations.  Courses will cover all Red Hat content for Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT), Engineer (RHCE), Architect (RHCA) and Security Specialist (RHCSS) certifications.

Requirements
To be successful in this role you must have:

- Expert Unix/Linux skills; 
- Five years industry experience (2 years in similar roles); 
- RHCE certified (or able to achieve it within the next 30 days);
- Tertiary qualifications in computing, engineering or science discipline;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Self motivated and enthusiastic approach.
- A background in development would be viewed favourably;
- Previous teaching experience would also be an advantage.

Some travel may be required as Red Hat deliver courses nationally throughout Australia and New Zealand.
