Systems Programmer, Full Time

Anchor is a leading Australian hosting provider based in Sydney CBD.  Anchor
provides a range of services from domain name registrations, shared hosting,
managed servers and co-location.

Anchor is comprised of a young and dynamic team and offers a very relaxed
and flexible work environment.

We are seeking a programmer to help continue development of internal
applications, including business infrastructure, and performing systems
integration.

Demonstrable ability in:
 - object oriented design
 - database design
 - bug tracking
 - source code management
 - test driven development
is essential to the position.

Previous experience in:
 - web application frameworks
 - Linux-based development environment
 - systems administration or deployment
will be advantageous.

Development work will primarily be undertaken with Python and PostgreSQL on
Red Hat and Debian Linux.

Solid communication and problem solving skills and the ability to work under
guidance in a team are important in this role.

A graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent is
required.

Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with ability.
