Perl developer and Linux sysad, Full Time

Perl developer and linux sysadmin required to work within a small team in one of Sydney's leading system integrators. You will be responsible for maintenance and improvement of both internal systems, including a telco-grade network monitoring solution and other various client-facing projects.
<p>
Essential skills:
<ul><li>Good communication
<li>Good Perl programming skills (OO Perl with commercial experience)
<li>Experience in Linux system administration and developing with other open source technologies in that environment
<li>Experience in perl web programming environments and tools such as mod_perl and speedy/fastcgi
<li>Database skills - SQL, DBI
<li>Exposure to cvs/subversion and HTML
</ul>
Desirable skills:
<ul>
<li>MySQL experience, database design
<li>Familiarity with network monitoring including SNMP and similar protocols
<li>Embperl, Javascript, Test modules
<li>Familiarity with Debian GNU/Linux
