Operations Project Manager, Full Time

Google has an immediate need for a manager of our IT group. The position calls
for a disciplined, creative, well-organised leader to manage our existing
world-class group and System Administrators.

We are looking for someone who can command the intellectual respect of the
engineers/system administrators in the group while providing a client-focused
interface to the rest of the company. Candidates should be familiar with the
unique challenges posed by a remote office and have proven project management
abilities.

Charm, wit and patience are a must. Excellent written and verbal communications
skills go without saying.

   1.  BSc or BA in a technical field.
   2. 5+ years as a Linux system administrator or Windows administrator.
   3. Familiarity with Windows/Unix inter-operation.
   4. 2+ years as a manager of an IT group.
   5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
