Linux Systems Administrator, Full Time

 You will be working in the Adelaide CBD in an innovative company that delivers services and applications in the Mobile Telecommunications industry.

This is an opportunity to join this exciting, rapidly growing company in a newly created and much needed position. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a carrier-grade communications platform. You will also be responsible for maintaining all other IT infrastructure within the company, including applications servers, network infrastructure, and office computers. This position offers diversity and the opportunity to grow.

You will have a degree (or equiv.) in Computer Science (or similar), and possess over four years experience in a Systems Administration role. The skills that you possess include:

    * Linux systems administration, including: experience maintaining a broad range of software; hardware experience; experience with high availability systems.
    * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software, particularly complex enterprise grade platforms.
    * Co-existence of heterogeneous systems in networks (eg Windows + Linux)
    * Good understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, including Internet routing, subnets, tunnelling, etc.
    * Some software development experience (particularly Java) is desirable.
